We left San Francisco in October 1988, wintered in Mexico and then sailed
west across the Pacific, visiting New Zealand and Australia. Then north
thru the Indonesian islands to Singapore and up the Malayasian penisula
to Thailand, across the Indian Ocean to the Red sea, the Suez canal and
Turkey where we spent the winter in Izmir. Then across the Mediterranean
to Gibraltar, across the Atlantic to the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean
then west to the Panama canal and finally north back to California.
